Study/Concept-Space/ is a private authoring source, not a public content pipeline. It is never mirrored or auto-synced into site/content/concepts/; every public Concepts page is a separately authored derivative, produced only when a human explicitly asks for a specific note to be promoted.
What’s fixed
- The Study vault stays read-only from the site’s side — routine site work never edits, exports, or bulk-reads it.
- Promotion is manual and per-note: someone asks for a specific Study concept to be turned into a draft Concepts page.
- A promoted page still needs the same source checking, human review, and explicit approval as any other Concepts entry before it stops being
unlisted.
What’s open
See Open operating decisions. The detailed promotion procedure — what triggers it, how much of the private note’s structure and frontmatter carries over, and how later edits to the Study note are handled — is not yet specified. Both Study/Concept-Space/ and the site’s Concepts collection are still incomplete, so specifying this now would be premature.
